In ‘The Continent’, an installation, the map of Africa seems to be drawn by a network of metal wires hung from the ceiling and attached to a white napkin sitting on a table. Looking closely, one sees that the continent's coast is made of a series of eyes looking at the open sea. Any moves of the table cloth, or the wires, would make the map disappear, making it a fragile and transient object.
