                                                    In this work the unusual  position of the splash of beautiful flowers within the layout of the image and the exaggerated zooming in on  the exposed roots of  a  grove serve to  destabilize the image, generating a feeling of disquiet. In so doing, Jakaila expresses how even small changes (such as those resulting from the effects of climate change) when observed in a familiar natural environment, can strike us in unexpected ways.
