Lagos-born sculptor and ceramicist Ranti Bam is known for her terracotta vessels featuring colorful patterns and designs. Guided by her interest in etymology and Eastern philosophy, Bam creates stunning cylindrical objects, decorated with gestural strokes. Her artwork features organic curves and engages subtly with themes such as fragility and strength. A graduate of the School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University, Bam has had work featured in group shows, fairs, and biennales in Berlin, Miami, Lagos, Dakar, and at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Her work has also been acquired by the Brooklyn Museum.
